Certificado internacional de Protección del Buque. La expedición del Certificado internacional de Protección del buque estará a cargo de la autoridad designada y se otorgará por un término máximo de hasta cinco (5) años contados a partir de la fecha de su expedición, y previo el cumplimiento de los requisitos y disposiciones establecidas en el Código PBIP, y la regulación nacional que en materia de Protección Marítima se expida por parte de la autoridad designada.
