El Observatorio Astronómico Nacional les prestará su ayuda á los Ingenieros de la Oficina en cuanto se relacione con las longitudes que puedan obtenerse por medio del telégrafo, para que éstas sean referidas al meridiano de dicho Observatorio. Para este objeto tendrán franquicia telegráfica el Director del Observatorio y los Ingenieros de la Oficina.
