" Art. 10 Los artículos que haya necesidad de retener á los porteadores cuando éstos no lleven dinero para cubrir el peaje, serán sacados á remate, á solicitud del Recaudador, por la autoridad política más próxima al sitio de cada Aduanilla. El remate se verificará después de haber transcurrido un término de 30 días, sin que los interesados se presenten á rescatar dichón artículos, y con el producto del remate se cubriré el valor de lo que se adeude á la Recaudación, devolviendo al interesado el exceso, si lo hubiere.
