El tránsito de peatones por las vías públicas se hará por el lado izquierdo fuera del pavimento o zona destinada al tránsito de vehículos, en las zonas rurales, salvo disposición en contrario del Ministerio de Obras Públicas, y en los perímetros urbanos, por las aceras.
