Las inversiones que deba realizar el Departamento de Servicios Administrativos por sumas mayores de veinte mil pesos ($20.000), se someterán previamente al estudio y aprobación de una Junta de Adquisiciones integrada así: 1°. El Director General de la Policía. 2°. El Subdirector. 3°. El Jefe del Estado Mayor. 4°. El Jefe del Departamento de Servicios Administrativos. 5°. El Jefe del Departamento de Contabilidad, Control y Presupuesto. El Intendente del Departamento de Servicios Administrativos actuará como Secretario. El Auditor Fiscal de la Contraloría General de la República tendrá voz pero no voto en las deliberaciones de la Junta. Cuando se trata de adquisiciones con destino a las Escuelas de cadetes General Santander'' o de suboficiales ''Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada'' harán parte de la Junta con voz y voto los Directores de dichos institutos.
