º El artículo 34 del Decreto 2160 de 1986 quedará así: VALORES COMO INVERSIONES TEMPORALES. Las inversiones temporales representadas en títulos valores deben registrarse el costo el cual incluye las sumas incurridas directamente en su adquisición. Cuando el valor de mercado sea inferior al costo, este se debe ajustar mediante una provisión con cargo a los resultados del período en el cual ocurrió la pérdida de valor. La valorización de inversiones representada por la diferencia entre el valor de mercado y su costo se debe incluir en el patrimonio como superávit por valorizaciones. Se entiende por valor de mercado el promedio de cotización representativas en bolsa de valores y, a falta de éste, su valor intrínseco.
