- OBLIGACIONES DE LOS SERVIDORES PUBLICOS. Todas las autoridades públicas deberán suministrar la información necesaria para el efectivo cumplimiento de las funciones del personero, sin que le sea posible oponer reserva alguna. La negativa o negligencia de un servidor público a colaborar o que impida el desarrollo de las funciones del personero constituirá causal de mala conducta sancionada por la destitución del cargo.

Parágrafo

El personero está obligado a guardar la reserva de los informes que le suministren en los casos establecidos por la ley (Ley 136 de 1994, art.179).
