Desde la sanción de esta ley los Síndicos de Lazaretos serán de libre nombramiento y remoción del Poder Ejecutivo. Los Síndicos serán nombrados y removidos igualmente por el Poder Ejecutivo, pero los nombramientos de estos se harán de ternas recentadas por la Dirección Nacional de Lazaretos (1).
