El que sustrajere, adulterare, ocultare maliciosamente o destruyere acta de escrutinio, papeletas, censo o lista de sufragantes, certificado para votación o cualquier otro documento necesario para el ejercicio del derecho del sufragio, o que impida tal ejercicio, o cuya falta haga imposible la efectividad del derecho de sufragio a cualquier ciudadano, sufrirá reclusión de dos a cuatro años, y si el responsable fuere empleado público, se aumentará la pena en una cuarta parte.
