Si el retiro por invalidez o enfermedad contraídas en el servicio y por causa del mismo servicio tuviera lugar después de quince años de servicio, el oficial, desde el día en que se decrete su retiro por tal causa, tiene derecho a sueldo de retiro de la misma cuantía establecida en el artículo 5° para Oficiales retirados por razón de la edad.
