Las Juntas Municipales de Deportes son las autoridades deportivas a nivel municipal y en las capitales de las Intendencias y Comisarías podrán asumir -las funciones de las Juntas Administradoras Seccionales de Deporte, previo concepto favorable de la Junta Directiva del Instituto Colombiano de la Juventud y el Deporte, teniendo en cuenta si el monto de los ingresos por aportes, impuestos y recursos de¡ Presupuesto Nacional no justifica la constitución de una estructura administrativa diferente. Dicho concepto podrá ser revocado.
