Requisitos. Los requisitos para el otorgamiento de la medalla militar “Simona Amaya” son:

1.

Ser militar femenina de jerarquía Oficial o Suboficial de las Fuerzas Militares.

2.

Que durante los tres (3) últimos años no haya sido suspendido en el ejercicio de funciones y atribuciones.

3.

Que durante los tres (3) últimos años no haya sido objeto de sanción disciplinaria.

4.

Que durante los tres (3) últimos años no haya sido condenada por la Justicia Penal Militar o la Ordinaria.

5.

Que se distinga por sus eminentes servicios prestados a las Fuerzas Militares dentro del cumplimiento de su función en el ejercicio del cargo o prestación del servicio, por sus reconocidas virtudes militares de patriotismo, honor militar, mística, ética, liderazgo, sacrificio, voluntad, disciplina, fortaleza coraje, compromiso, lealtad y valor.
