Además de las funciones a que se refieren los artículos anteriores, el Fondo tendrá las siguientes

Comprar y exportar directamente artículos de producción nacional, cuando ello fuere necesario para fomentar el comercio exterior;

Comprar artículos o servicios extranjeros para facilitar colocación de productos colombianos, y

Celebrar acuerdos sobre intercambio comercial y abrir créditos que faciliten la ejecución de los mismos, así como realizar todas las operaciones necesarias para la oportuna y más provechosa utilización de los saldos que a favor de Colombia resulten de dichos acuerdos.
