Las viudas ó huérfanos de los Generales y Oficiales del Ejército permanente y Marina de Guerra que fallecieren en servicio activo, disfrutarán mensualmente de las asignaciones siguientes, que se pagaran de la Caja del Montepío; la de un General cincuenta pesos ($ 50); y la de un Coronel cuarenta pesos ($ 40); la de un Teniente Coronel veintiocho pesos ($ 28); la de un Capitán diez y ocho pesos ($ 18); la de un Teniente doce pesos ( $ 12), y la de un subteniente diez pesos ($ 10).
