AREA DE SACRIFICIO DE ANIMALES RECHAZADOS. Los animales que se rechacen en el examen ante mortem serán sacrificados en el matadero donde se les inspeccionó en lugar diferente al área normal de sacrificio, tomando las medidas sanitarias que aseguren la limpieza y desinfección del personal que haya intervenido en la matanza, de los utensilios y de las áreas del matadero que hayan estado en contacto directo con el animal. Las carnes, vísceras y demás componentes serán utilizados en forma inmediata. La autoridad sanitaria competente vigilará la operación.
