Es prohibido a los Diputados gestionar asuntos ajenos ante el Gobernador del Departamento. Se les prohíbe igualmente celebrar contratos por sí o como representantes de otros, con los respectivos Gobernadores. Estas prohibiciones se extienden a todo el tiempo del período legal de sus funciones.
