El funcionario de la Contraloría en ejercicio de las facultades de policía judicial tomará las medidas que sean necesarias para asegurar que los elementos de prueba no sean alterados, ocultados o destruidos. Con tal fin podrá ordenar entre otras las siguientes medidas: disponer vigilancia especial de las personas, de los muebles o inmuebles, el sellamiento de éstos, la retención de medios de transporte, la incautación de papeles, libros, documentos o cualquier otro texto informático o magnético.
