°. Objeto . El presente decreto tiene por objeto reglamentar el formato, presentación y contenido del comparendo ambiental de que trata la Ley 1259 de 2008, así como establecer los lineamientos generales para su imposición al momento de la comisión de cualquiera de las infracciones sobre aseo, limpieza y recolección de residuos sólidos, que adelante se codifican.

Parágrafo

Entiéndase por comparendo ambiental la orden formal de notificación para que el presunto infractor se presente ante la autoridad competente.
