Corresponderá a la Caja Nacional de Previsión Social, reconocer las cuotas partes pensionales que correspondan a dicha entidad como Administradora del Régimen de Prima Media, de acuerdo con la Ley 100 de 1993, las cuales serán pagadas a través del FOPEP, así como efectuar el cobro de las mismas, cuando existan a favor de ella. El monto recaudado deberá ser transferido al FOPEP a través del Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público. Así mismo podrá preverse que las cuotas partes se recauden a través del FOPEP.
