Articulo vigesimoctavo. Cuando sea nombrado liquidador una persona que administre bienes de la sociedad, no podrá ejercer el cargo sin que previamente se aprueben las cuentas de su gestión por el Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Cooperativas. Si transcurridos 30 días desde la fecha de su designación no se hubiesen rendido dichas cuentas, se procederá a nombrar nuevo liquidador.
