La Republica de Colombia, al terminar el siglo en que comenzó su vida de Nación libre y soberana, cumple el deber de reconocer de una manera explícita la divina autoridad social de Jesucristo y de agradecerle los beneficios que de Él ha recibido, y así lo hace por medio de la presente Ley.
