Los Delegados del Registrador Nacional podrán exonerar del pago de la referida multa a quien acredite, dentro del término de treinta (30) días contados a partir de la fecha de la notificación personal, y conforme a lo dispuesto en el parágrafo del artículo 29 de esta ley, que no pudo concurrir a cumplir sus funciones por grave enfermedad de él o de su cónyuge, padre, madre o hijo; o por muerte de alguna de tales personas, acaecidas el día en que debe efectuarse el escrutinio o dentro de los dos días anteriores al mismo.
