El Ministerio de Educación Nacional de acuerdo con la Contraloría General de la República, tomará las medidas necesarias a fin de conceder al Museo Nacional y al Instituto Colombiano de Antropología la autonomía indispensable para asegurar el cabal desenvolvimiento de sus funciones específicas de tal manera que sus directores puedan desarrollar sus proyectos con la mayor eficacia, en cumplimiento de sus planes técnicos y culturales.
