En uno de los salones del edificio de la Sociedad hará colocar el Gobierno una placa de bronce con la siguiente inscripción:

"La República de Colombia honra la memoria de los fundadores de la Sociedad Colombiana de Ingenieros, señores Abelardo Ramos, Miguel Triana, Andrés Arroyo y Diódoro Sánchez."
