Respaldado en el préstamo contratado por el Gobierno con The Chemical Bank and Trust C°, de New York, por US$ 150.000.00, de acuerdo con la. autorización consignada en el numeral 3° del artículo 2° de la Ley 50 de 1931, ábrese un crédito adicional de carácter extraordinario, a la Ley de Apropiaciones vigente, con la siguiente leyenda: "PRESUPUESTO EXTRAORDINARIO MINISTERIO DE OBRAS PUBLICAS Capítulo 62-Bis. Nuevo Acueducto de Bogotá. Artículo 554-B.-Para las obras del nuevo Acueducto de Bogotá $ 270.000.00 Expedido en Bogotá, a 20 de mayo de 1938.
