Declárase de utilidad pública la adquisición, por parte de la Nación, del terreno adyacente , al área de la ciudad de Girardot, comprendido dentro de los siguientes linderos:

"Por el Oriente, con el río Magdalena, terrenos de FlorentinoTorres y terrenos de Aljure & Castaño; por el Occidente, con el río Magdalena y área del Municipio de Girardot, zanja de Chicala de por medio; por el Norte, con terrenos y casas de los señores José María Escobar, Deogracias Arteaga, Guillermo García, Marcos Duque, Camilo González, Julio Caballero, José Antonio Díaz, David Segura, N. Vargas, Martín Pachón, Rafael Piza, Luis Vargas, N. Lara, Milcíades Romero, Miguel Guzmán, Medardo Cuevas, José J . Niño Espinosa, Aljure & Castaño; por el Sur, con el río Magdalena."
