Para efecto de lo establecido en el presente Decreto, se entiende por cadena radial toda organización debidamente constituida por cinco (5) o más estaciones de radiodifusión sonora, ubicadas en dos o más municipios o distritos del país, con el fin de efectuar transmisiones enlazadas en forma periódica, para la difusión de programación a través de las bandas y frecuencias autorizadas a cada una de ellas.
