Queda prohibida la fundición de monedas de plata, que será castigada con una multa igual al valor del metal fundido. No se permitirá tampoco negociar en monedas de plata desde la fecha que se señale para que cese el poder liberatorio de ellas. La infracción de este precepto se castigará con una multa igual al valor de la cantidad negociada.
