Los detenidos que trabajen por cuenta de la administración carcelaria, deberán ser asegurados contra accidentes de trabajo con fondos procedentes en parte, de la caja especial del Establecimiento, y el resto del tesoro público. Los que trabajen por cuenta de empresarios de fuera serán protegidos por las leyes vigentes sobre la materia.
