La Nación se asocia a la celebración de los setenta (70) años de la fundación del municipio de Uribia, en el departamento de La Guajira y rinde reconocimiento a su fundador, el Capitán Eduardo Londoño Villegas y al Presidente Alfonso López Pumarejo, cogestor de su creación, mediante la construcción de sendos monumentos como homenaje a sus fundadores.
