Art. 18. Las partes o sus apoderados pueden constituir de palabra o por escrito, de defensores o patrones para los actos que deben surtirse verbalmente. Si por escrito lo constituyen, lo harán por medio de un memorando dirigido al magistrado o juez que conoce, y que puede presentar los mismos defensores o patrones.
