Los protocolos notariales pertenecen a la Nación. Los que tengan más de treinta años deberán ser transferidos por la correspondiente notaría al Archivo General Notarial del respectivo círculo. Para tal efecto el Gobierno Nacional, con asesoría del Archivo General de la Nación, tomará las medidas pertinentes.
