Las cooperativas están obligadas a realizar de modo permanente, actividades que tiendan a la formación de sus asociados y trabajadores en los principios, métodos y características del cooperativismo, así como para capacitar a los administradores en la gestión empresarial propia de cada cooperativa.

Las actividades de asistencia técnica, de investigación y de promoción del cooperativismo, hacen parte de la educación cooperativa que establece la presente Ley.
