La tarjeta de control será de carácter permanente por el mes correspondiente, individual e intransferible. Su expedición y refrendación serán gratuitas, correspondiendo a las empresas asumir su costo. Dicho documento podrá ser solicitado por las autoridades de tránsito y policía y dará lugar a la inmovilización del vehículo cuando el conductor no la porte, se encuentre desactualizada o con enmendaduras.
