° La Superintendencia Bancaria ejercerá el control de lo dispuesto en el artículo 1° del Decreto 765 de 1993 por períodos trimestrales. En tal virtud, el total de la cartera correspondiente al final de cada trimestre será la base a la cual se le aplicará el porcentaje requerido de cartera en vivienda de interés social que deberán demostrar los establecimientos de crédito al finalizar el siguiente trimestre. En consecuencia, el primer control que debe efectuar la Superintendencia Bancaria será el correspondiente al tercer trimestre de 1993, en los términos indicados en el inciso anterior.
