La participación en el impuesto a las ventas que corresponda a las Intendencias y Comisarías de acuerdo con el ordinal c) del artículo 2º y el inciso 3º del artículo 3º de la Ley 12 de 1986, se distribuirá entre dichas entidades por partes iguales, cualquiera que sea su población, y será girada por la Nación directamente a la respectiva tesorería intendencial o comisarial.
