Recursos acumulados . Los recursos acumulados en los Fondos de Fomento al Carbón y Metales Preciosos, existentes a la entrada en vigencia del presente decreto, serán destinados preferentemente al desarrollo de proyectos que permitan mejorar la productividad y seguridad minera en la pequeña y mediana minería. El Ministerio de Minas y Energía o la entidad que este designe, establecerá los parámetros que se tendrán en cuenta para la destinación de estos recursos.
