Artículo sexto. Para que el servicio prestado en una campaña directa sea reconocido por el Ministerio de Salud como Servicio Médico Obligatorio, se requiere que se realice en zonas rurales. El Ministerio hará el reconocimiento por medio de resolución motivada, previo concepto de su Comité Técnico.

Parágrafo

Los servicios médicos dependientes del Ministerio de Guerra prestados en zonas rurales afectadas por la violencia, podrán ser reconocidos como una campaña directa para los fines de la Ley.
