Artículo primero. Apruébase el Convenio Internacional sobre Arqueo de Buques, firmado en Londres el 23 de junio de 1969, cuyo texto oficial es el siguiente:

CONVENIO INTERNACIONAL SOBRE ARQUEO DE BUQUES - 1969

Los gobiernos contratantes:

Deseando establecer principios y reglas uniformes en lo que respecta a la determinación del arqueo de los buques que realizan viajes internacionales;

Considerando que el mejor medio para alcanzar estos fines es concertar un convenio,

Han convenido lo siguiente:
