Para asegurar la sanidad agropecuaria en el país, créanse las zonas fronterizas de control sanitario, que consisten en franjas de seguridad en las regiones fronterizas en extensión que se determinará según concepto técnico. Además de las que rijan para el resto del país en las mencionadas zonas se podrán imponer reglas especiales.
