En la ciudad de Calamar, tierra natal del ilustre ciudadano, se erigirá un monumento a su memoria, en el lugar que designe el Concejo Municipal de dicha ciudad, y en los salones de la Gobernación de Bolívar será colocado un retrato suyo al óleo.
