Todo extranjero que entre al país con visa temporal, ordinaria, de negocios (artículo 40), de residente, especial de residente, estudiante, está obligado a presentarse ante la División de Extranjería del Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad (DAS) en Bogotá o ante la respectiva seccional del mismo organismo, dentro de los cinco (5) días siguientes a su llegada, para los fines pertinentes.
