Según el artículo 46 de la Ley 153 de 1896, el Poder Ejecutivo es quien debe conceder las asignaciones del Montepío; pero su petición se hará por conducto de la Junta Directiva y del modo prescrito en el artículo 42 de este Decreto. Las peticiones se entregarán al Secretario.
