Definición y condición especial de banco puente. El banco puente es un establecimiento de crédito especial que mientras mantenga esta condición no estará sujeto a disposiciones que le exijan requerimientos mínimos de capital, solvencia, regímenes de reserva legal, inversiones forzosas ni encaje.

Parágrafo

Cuando un banco puente reciba como activo la propiedad o participación accionaria en otra persona jurídica, esta adquisición no modifica la denominación, tipo, régimen legal y naturaleza de dicha persona jurídica.
