º. De acuerdo con lo ordenado en el artículo 1º de la Ley 99 de 1.922, es obligatorio el denuncio o declaración de las siguientes enfermedades: cólera asiático y cólera nostras, fiebre amarilla, peste bubónica, tifo exantemático, fiebre tifoidea y paratifoidea, viruela, difteria, escarlatina, disenterías bacilar y amibiana, tuberculosis, meningitis cerebroespinal epidémica. Es también obligatoria la declaración de la lepra, de acuerdo con las disposiciones especiales que rigen para tal declaración. A esta lista se puede agregar otras enfermedades, como la dispone la citada Ley.
