Las Direcciones Seccionales de Catastro son dependencias regionales del Instituto Geográfico "Agustín Codazzi", encargadas de adelantar los trabajos sobre formación yconservación del catastro en su respectiva jurisdicción y de cumplir las demás funciones que la ley, los reglamentos especiales y los actos de la Junta Directiva le señalen.
