El Observatorio de Asuntos de Género, a cargo de la Consejería Presidencial para la Equidad de la Mujer del Departamento Administrativo de la Presidencia de la República, desarrollará las funciones contenidas en la Ley 1009 de 2006, sirviendo como fuente información para la Comisión Intersectorial de las Mujeres y demás componentes del Sistema Nacional de las Mujeres.
