Las adquisiciones que efectué el instituto se cometerán según su cuantía, a los siguientes requisitos

Compresas hasta de diez mil pesos ($ 10.000.00) no necesitarán cotizaciones ni contrato escrito pero se reconocerán por resolución del Gerente.

Compras de valor superior de diez mil pesos ($ 10.000.00) e inferior a cincuenta mil pesos ($ 50.000.00) necesitarán tres (3) cotizaciones, acta de adjudicación y contrato escrito, y

Compras de cincuenta mil pesos ($ 50.000.00) o valor superior necesitarán de licitación pública o privada, según la naturaleza de los elementos y conforme a las disposiciones vigentes.

Parágrafo

En los casos contemplados por el artículo del Código Fiscal podrán prescindirse de las cotizaciones licitaciones ordinarias por el presente artículo.
