La autoevaluación institucional es una tarea permanente de las instituciones de Educación Superior y hará parte del proceso de acreditación.

El Consejo Nacional de Educación Superior (CESU), a través del Instituto Colombiano para el Fomento de la Educación Superior (Icfes), cooperará con tales entidades para estimular y perfeccionar los procedimientos de autoevaluación institucional.
