Art. 6° Los empleados mencionadosen el artícula anterior formarán el núcleo de la Academia nacional de Ciencias i Artes, la cual tendrá sesiones periódicas para tratar de los asuntos concernientes al Instituto, i ordenar hacer las publicaciones que tuviere a bien. Esta corporacion tendrá para su servicio un Secretario i un portero.

Parágrafo

El Director del Colejio militar i Escuela politécnica, i el decano de la Escuela de medicina, cuando esta haga parte del Instituto nacional, serán tambien miembros natos de la Academia.
